SOLD OUT DO NOT ORDER. In a special commemorative tin case this DVD is BRAND NEW! It is 30 years since Peter Brock took Bathurst by the scruff of the neck and blazed to glory in his A9X hatchback. 1978 was a year of total dominance by Brocky and became the start of his career-peak that saw him win six out of 7 consecutive Bathurst 1000s of his 9 in total. The 1977 Bathurst race result caused a major reshaping of Touring Car history. Firstly, the memorable one/two victory became Ford/Moffat’s greatest ever moment at Mount Panorama and secondly, it inspired Holden to lift their game, bringing Peter Brock back into the fold after a 3 year absence from the factory team. 1978 was a watershed year for touring car racing with the return, after a 3 year absence, to the Holden factory team of Peter Brock. It became the start of his career peak as a driver that saw him win six out of 7 consecutive Bathurst 1000s of his 9 in total. In this DVD, long-time rival Allan Moffat, HDT manager John Sheppard and driver John Harvey reflect on the 1978 Bathurst event with behind the scenes comments made while viewing the original cinema film. Often amusing, always informative, the trio then examine the actual winning Brock/Richards A9X Torana. Original cinema footage with candid comments from those in the know...ALLAN MOFFAT, JOHN HARVEY and JOHN SHEPPARD. BONUS COLLECTOR CARDS INCLUDED!
