Brock WINS 1979 REPCO ROUND AUSTRALIA TRIAL

The greatest test of any vehicle in Australian motorsport is to survive an epic Around Australia Trial.

With a reputation born out of the famous Redex Trials of the 1950s, Holden, Australia's own car, has always featured at the forefront of those classic enduros. Never more so than in the 1979 Repco Round Australia Trial when champion, Peter Brock, led home a trio of factory HDT Commodores for a 1-2-3 result against the world's best competition.
