1989 Australian Bike GP
An historic DVD in which we celebrate the very first time the World Motorcycle Championship headed 'down under'! The inaugural Australian Grand Prix was staged at the magnificent Phillip Island circuit and what a race it was. Kevin Schwantz set the pace in practice and was out for another victory over Wayne Rainey. Home-grown riders Wayne Gardner, Kevin Magee and Michael Doohan were also keen to win. Christian Sarron showed in practice that he was on the pace; while Freddie Spencer and Niall Mackenzie also went into the race confident of success.
