Holden VK Commodore SS LE Group 3 in Formula Blue (more commonly known as the Group A/3). This model will be produced in high quality 1:18 Scale die-cast with fully opening parts.
With a build number of only 48 units, the VK Group A/3 could easily be described as one of the rarest Australian muscle cars in existence. The car is effectively a combination of two model packages, using Group A running gear in a Group 3 body. This utilised the performance of the Group A engine while adding various refinements made possible with the Group 3 fit-out.
Available only in the popular Formula Blue Colour scheme, this new muscle car featured the optional rearward facing bonnet scoop and sat on 16”x7” Aero Rims with the 16”x8” Momo Star rims available as an option which we have replicated. With a reported top speed of 215 Km/Ph and the capability of producing a standing start quarter mile time of 15.54 seconds at 143 Km/Ph, there were certainly no problems with the performance of the VK Group A/3 backing up its impressive and intimidating looks.
This is another exceptional replication of an iconic Australian car by Biante Model Cars. Featuring a highly detailed engine bay, interior, wheels, undercarriage, impressive finishing and a more accurate rear wing in comparison to previous Group 3’s.
