SOLD OUT DO NOT ORDER. In 1963, the mantle of top selling Australian Wagon was starting to heat up, with both Ford and Holden being joined by Chrysler.
Holden’s answer to the increased competition was the EH. Sporting the same striking lines as its Sedan brother, the EH Wagon instantly turned heads. Under the bonnet the then new “Red” motor provided a stronger, smoother and more powerful engine, producing around 100 horsepower. With a top speed of just over 130 kph, the EH wasn’t the fastest Holden produced, however the sedan was raced in the ‘60s with varying degrees of success.
Inside, the EH Wagon was a fairly basic car. Two bench seats front and back seated six passengers in relative comfort with the rear seat folding down to allow for increased cargo capacity. Other than that however, a cigarette lighter was its only other real standard internal accessory, but with a retail price of £1336 for the 179 Automatic, the EH wagon was competitively priced.
Biante are pleased to present the opportunity to place your orders for the 1:43 Scale Holden EH Special Wagon in Fowlers Ivory over Winton Red with opening parts. This is a new addition to the Biante Reserve Collection and will be presented in the acrylic style packaging with credit card style certificate.
